Student Council

Student council is a group of 4th and 5th grade students elected by their peers to address issues of concern and organize student events and activities. They share ideas to bring about change within the school building and around the school community. There are several positions students may run for:

• President (5th graders only)
• Vice President (5th graders only)
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Committee Members (4)

Meetings for student council will be held once a month on Wednesdays OR Thursdays after school from approximately 2:35 to 3:45 pm.

The election will be on October 12th. The candidates for President and Vice President will read their speeches aloud to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes.
